Developed by Namco, a Japanese company, Pac-Man is one of the most popular and well-recognised arcade games of all time. It was created by Toru Iwatani and released as Puck Man in Japan in 1980. The gameplay is simple and involves a yellow PAC-MAN (Pacman (sic)) made to eat all dots on the screen. Pac-Man is chased by four “ghosts”. Touching the any of the ghost would kill Pac-Man. However, it too can destroy the ghosts by eating a “fruit” first.
