The Desert Battle Dress Uniform (DBDU) is a 6-color desert pattern designed to be used by the US Armed Forces in arid regions, most notable in the Persian Gulf War. The pattern has a background of light tan with sections of pale green and bands of browns. DBDU camouflage pattern also featured spots of white and black that were supposed to mimic small stones and their shadows.
