The Traffic Red, Yellow & Green Color Scheme palette has 3 colors which are Carnelian (#B81D13), American Yellow (#EFB700) and Spanish Green (#008450).
This color combination was created by user Manish. The Hex, RGB and CMYK codes are in the table below.
Note: English language names are approximate equivalents of the hexadecimal color codes.
The Traffic color scheme is to mark the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (17 November 2019) introduced by the United Nations. As per their web site, over 1.35 million people, specially vulnerable users such as pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, are killed on roads each year around the world.
The United Nations uses international days “to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity.” The dedicated web site of World Day of Remembrance now features the Life is not a car part theme.
Our scheme has the three colors of traffic lights – red, yellow and green. The RGB and hexadecimal codes are based on the RAL codes 3020 (Traffic red), 1023 (Traffic yellow) and 6024 (Traffic green). The table below has other traffic colors from the RAL list.
