The flag of Greenland rejected in favour of the non-nordic cross flag consisted of a white cross over a light green field. The new flag of the region is a bi-color with two equal-sized horizontal stripes of white and red with a circle that has the colors reversed from the background. This makes Greenland the only Scandinavian territory without the nordic cross in its flag.
The hexadecimal code and closest Pantone® value of the light green in the proposed, and subsequently rejected, Greenland flag are #7FDA69 and 7487 C, respectively.
