The flag of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States in the Caribbean Sea, is modelled after the Cuban flag. It has three colors – blue, white and red. The Puerto Rican government has indicated the colors of the flag but no specifications to the exact shade have been put forward. Because of this, different shades of blue (from light to dark) are used for the flag.

The hexadecimal, RGB and CMYK codes of the colors are in the table while the closest Pantone® values for the red and blue are 2347 C and 285 C, respectively. For a lighter shade of blue, you can use #33B5D5 (Pantone 631 C).

The official name of the state is Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and it was earlier, though briefly, called Porto Rico.
